今天下午，英语老师走进了教室，顿时，室里鸦雀无声（告诉你们奥，我们的英语老师可是很严厉的……）一看见英语老师来了，同学们都齐刷刷的站起来，异口同声喊道：“Goodafternoon，teacher！”老师回应我们，说：“Goodafternoon，students！”然后我们就开始上课，“请同学们翻到课本的第20页！”……
38分钟后，老师又说到：“三单元B部分，read and wiret，单词和句子个写5遍。”说完后教室里变一下子安静下来，同学们都在专心写作业，老师走走停停，看着我们认真的样子，嘴角不时漏出温柔的笑容。不知过了多长时间，忽然听见“叮铃铃铃”，下课铃响了。就这样，安静，鸦雀无声的英语课结束了……
我们认为英语老师有和蔼的一面，也有严厉的一面，正是这样，我们的英语课才上的很充实。

这周的星期三，在这个阴云密布的早晨，进行了让人紧张而又难忘的英语期中考试。
早读课时，我认真地阅读着英语书，生怕漏掉了什么，使得没能考到好成绩，不过，当时并不是很紧张。就在这时，我听到了让老师领卷子的广播，心里默默地想：放松，放松，我可以考好的，为什么要紧张呢？虽然，我竭力地安慰着自己，可是紧张的感觉，却油然而生。突然，四（3）班的老师走了进来，原来，她就是我们这次的监考老师。开始放听力的录音了，声音震耳欲聋，有一道题目没能听清，结果就蒙了一个答案，心里暗暗地想：惨了，这个题目没听清，如果蒙的答案是错的，岂不是要拖累自己了？后面的笔试部分我觉得很简单，于是就没有认真检查。
第二天，报成绩时，我的心“扑通扑通”地跳着，脑神经简直绷到了极点。虽然得到了一个不错的成绩：98.5，但是那依然不是我心目中理想的成绩。果然，我没听清楚的那道听力题不出所料错了和一个单词少了复数形式的“S”。顿生悔意，如果我当时检查一遍或许就只会错一道题了。
这次考试，因为我粗心和对题目的轻视而犯下的错误，铭刻在我的脑海里，从今以后我不能再让自己重蹈覆辙，要认认真真地做好每一件事。

坐在教室里读着英语单词，思绪不禁飘回到在英国的日子。一切仿佛就发生在眼前……
记得刚到英国那几天，感觉一切都是新鲜的，一切也都是陌生的。这里充满挑战。但我坚信，这是我的一次极好的锻炼机会。
经过十几个小时的空中旅行，又度过了两个多小时的汽车的颠簸，终于到达了位于英格兰东部的小镇——玛尔盖特（Ｍａｒｇａｔｅ）。第一次敲开英国家庭的门，第一次住进一个完全陌生的家，接触到陌生的人和事。对于我，一个刚满１６岁的女孩来说，真不是一件容易的事。最困难的就是语言障碍了。平时在学校，学习的英语有限，词汇量也不足。而这里，有着最纯正地道的英语，他们的语言、音调以及连读、略读，甚至是手势、表情，我都非常不适应。当他们询问我的情况，与我交谈而我又听不太懂的时候，我感到力不从心。那些我以前会说的句子，认识的单词，那会儿都不知溜到哪儿去了。
我住的是一个快乐幸福的大家庭。Ｍｒ、ＭｒｓＣａｒｔｅｒ，一对很友好的英国夫妇，他们有四个孩子，两个在家里住。刚刚来的时候，自己和他们都感到彼此的陌生，交流也很少。但经过几天的熟悉，他们真的是很善良很友好，我们也努力和他们沟通。
记得第一天去学校，由Ｍｉｃｈａｅｌ带着我们。大约步行１０分钟后，我们到了一个好像古堡一样的建筑里。之后便见了Ｒｅｇｅｎｔ里的老师，很有趣很开朗的老师。教我们的老师是Ｊｅｎｎｉ和Ｃｌａｕｄｉａ，课上，老师的英文授课，我全部都可以理解。这使我很高兴。在学校的安排就是上午有两节课，然后是休息和午饭时间。下午则是一些很有意思的活动。那天晚上有一个Ｐａｒｔｙ，在Ｒｅｇｅｎｔ学习的学生来自不同国家，不同肤色的人坐在一起用英文聊天，交流。还有饮料和零食。从其他国家的同学身上我发现他们的发音与我们有很大的不同，取长补短。我们在努力提高自己的口语水平。但交流中，我最大的发现就是在说英语的时候，语法时态，句子好像全都不记得了。这可能是在平时课上所学的知识没有记牢，运用的不够熟练。所以使用的时候就想不起来了。这是我今后学英语要改进的地方。不仅照着书本会读，脱离了课本也能说出来，只有这样，才能运用自如。
两个星期很快就过去了。对刚刚熟悉的环境又要说“再见”，还真有些不舍。毕竟这两个星期的学习生活给了我很大的帮助，使我对学习英语更有兴趣了。我会永远记住这一次难忘的旅行。并将这次锻炼之所学运用到今后的学习生活中。

在我的记忆中，有许多难忘的事，有的让我高兴，有的让我后悔。在我的记忆里，最难忘的是一节英语课。
那是一个星期二的上午第三节课，孟老师正给我们讲课，讲了一个“fat”的英语单词，孟老师问：“谁知道fat这个单词的反义词？”我们大家听完就异口同声的说：“thin”。孟老师问：“这是什么意思”，我们又说“瘦的”。孟老师说：“它还有一个意思。”说完，他用双手拍拍前胸和后背。我们都不知道是什么意思，所以在下面窃窃私语。这时，孟老师说：“薄的”。我们听完哈哈大笑。孟老师幽默的语言和滑稽的动作让我深深地记住了这个单词的意思，更记住了孟老师。
上完这堂课，我懂得了许多道理，做任何事都不要死脑筋，不要钻牛角尖，都要换一个角度想一想。通往成功的路不止一条。

There is, however, another touching story: When Sakyamuni was on his way into the high mountains in his quest for understanding and enlightenment, he grew tired and hungry. Exhausted from days of walking, he fainted away by a river in India. A shepherdess found him there and fed him her lunch -- porridge made with beans and rice. Sakyamuni was thus able to continue his journey.
