　　“太好啦！我有机会见到课文里的作者了。”我高兴得几乎跳了起来，恨不得马上就去拜访他。爸爸答应星期六上午带我去，我拍手叫好。
　　星期六，我早早起了床，便催促爸爸带我去拜访汪爷爷。
　　路上，初冬的阳光晒在身上暖洋洋的。我顾不上路旁小商贩的吆喝和招揽生意的广播，一路小跑着。急得爸爸在后面一个劲地叫我慢点。
　　来到汪爷爷门口时，我和爸爸都出了一身汗。

　　我连忙追问汪爷爷写这篇文章时有什么感受。他耐心地告诉我：“人类的文字大体上有象形和拼音文字两种，人类社会最早发明的文字几乎都是象形文字，后来其他国家的象形文字都相继湮灭了，为拼音文字所取代。汉字则是唯一保留下来并且广泛使用的象形文字。在世界文字之林中，中国的汉字一个个方块培育了五千年古老的文化，维系了一个统一大国的存在，而且是强有力的，自成系统的。他的创造契机显示出中国人与世不同的文明传统和感知世界的方式。”
　　我又问道：“为什么外国没有书法呢？”
　　汪爷爷笑着反问：“你想想，把英语字母或者拼音字母象书法这样写，会是什么样子。”
　　我摸了摸后脑勺说：“一定没有中国的汉字书法好看。”
　　“对了。所以中国的汉字表现力是无穷无尽的，你们要好好领悟、学习、传承和发扬光大。”汪爷爷边说边拍着我的肩膀，以示鼓励。他还告诉我：“汉字存在字形复杂，比较难认、难写等弱点，需要谨慎地加以系统改革和创新。而且，拼音文字也有其优越性之处。如英文善于细致地描述事物，有利于开展逻辑思维，是当前国际科技、信息、金融交流的主要文字。法文结构严谨，语法细腻，可免于歧义，是法律合同等有约束性文件的极佳文字。随着世界各种文化的交流融合，不同语言文字都可相互参考，取长补短。汉字在总结历史经验和借鉴吸收了其它文字的可取之处将进一步发扬光大。汉字的优越性对中华民族的团结和振兴，将发挥其独特的作用。”
