　　作文需要早起步。对低年级学生来说，日记不失为一种有产的训练形式。为此，我设计了两个阶段，指导低年级学生写好日记。
　　1、写好一句话
　　一年级学生学完汉语拼音后，我就开始有意识地教给他们一些倦意的句式，如：“什么时候，谁在什么地方干什么”、“什么时候，什么怎么样了”、“什么时候，谁看见什么”等，指导他们借助汉语拼音写一句话的日记，来记录自己在一天里的点滴见闻。训练中，我着重教给学生一些写日记的基本知识，强调日记必须真实，内容要新鲜。这句话是记载学生自己在一天里特有的发现或亲身的感受。不能每天都写差不多的话，那就没有意义了。因此，日记的内容应该每天都是新鲜的。日记是应用文的一种，它有一定的格式要求。要在小学生初写日记时讲清这些要求。
　　2、写好几句话
　　随着学生眼界的扩大、认识的提高、识字量的增加和词汇的日益丰富，他们已经不满足于写一句话的日记了，这时可因势利导，过渡到写几句话日记。几句话的日记与一句话的日记相比，主要特点在于日记的内容丰富了。教师必须指导学生把握句与句之间的内在联系和衔接，教给学生一些连接句子的技能。几句话的内容应围绕一个意思，按一定的合理的顺序，连缀而成。可以按先后顺序，也可以按事情发展的顺序，还可以按方位顺序，教师可根据学生实际，灵活运用。
　　从学完汉语拼音到二年级结束这段时间，坚持让学生写日记，其实就是不知不觉把学生领入了作文之门。待到三年级开始片断训练，沉重就不会感到突然和困难了。
